Friday afternoon the thought struck me to give Mie and Dav a call.
Karen and I haven't seen them since Tes was born and we've been wanting
to (re)connect. A little later that day Dav
emailed inviting us to go sailing. What timing!
I'd never been sailing before but it was super fun. Wind gusts could come out of nowhere and suddenly the boat would be listing at a 45 (or more) degree angle with everyone holding on to whatever they could find as we picked up speed. What a rush. I love it.
Karen, on the otherhand was not quite as thrilled after a couple of visits from the puke fairy. I have to hand it to her, she's a brave woman and handled it all like a champ.
Thanks Dav. Despite the vomit, sailing was awesome.
